Never mind that it's rabble rousing and offers no EVIDENCE to the contrary. He makes an excellent point in a very bad context. The leap of faith is infinite. But perhaps it is also iterative. Within the context of its own thought faith narrows in on grace. And what more could one ask for. Science too is a winnowing process. A process which I'm sure Hitchens deifies without a second thought. But we must wait centuries for science to transform the whole planet. Faith can transform in a life time.
