This is the first of two short videos which start to show the type of problems I have been experiencing this past two weeks (early/mid-October 2008) when trying to connect up/keep connected to EA Online servers when wanting to play the Multiplayer of Battlefield: Bad Company. GRRRR, it's so frustrating!!!

  • we know there is the problom

i thought you had idea to solve this problem

  • @1407mashari

Hi Mashari, I'd like to be able to say that there is a single, easy step to solving this problem but sadly it is all down to how much server space has been allocated by EA to the playing public. Even then it is all pure luck if you are amongst those who can successfully connect/stay connected or bad luck if you cannot.

  • ...@1407mashari After over a year of blogs and debates it's clear that there are two opinions. (1) The on-going problem is one that is experienced throughout ALL the EA online range and is a Server issue, and (2) If you use a Firewall you need to open a designated port (apparently the solution is on page 12 of your PS3 users book). I don't doubt the Port advice is useful but I'm swayed towards the server problem theory... one that suggests this problem is out of our hands.

  • this is happening to me to i think its EA Servers not my router please HELP ME I LIKE THE ONLINE PLAY ON THIS GAME SO PLEASE HELP ME!

  • Hi Blah, Sorry but I can't help you. It's almost certainly EA's fault - not yours. So all you can do is sit and be patient until it gets better for you. I'm sorry I can't give you any technical help but my knowledge is limited. Take care and happy gaming, PCofTQY
