Liberty Twp Fire department responded to a chimney fire. Upon arrival, the fire had spread into the walls. Therefore, the walls and siding had to be removed to get to the fire.

Upon arrival, at the upper left of the screen, one will notice the smoke coming from the house. The smoke you see next to the vehicle is not from the engine, it is from the house. Weather conditions caused the smoke to stay low to the ground.

Sorry, guys. I did the best I could with the video considering the weather conditions. Much of the video was edited out because of the rain.

Fortunately, the owners were home and the time and damage was minor.

  • Nice Response... was that one of your Engines going to the call?

  • Yes. Engine 511. I was responding to the station. Then was redirected to the scene. The engine took the preferred route.
