Martin Kemp, what a laugh. The film, however is great.
I don't think though it was hugely factual to the twins themselves although it did capture well the difference between Ron & Reg. Ron was a lot more sadistic and refused to allow his less-violent brother to abandon him in his passions. I dare say Reggie would never had been so 'notorious' if it weren't for Ronnie.
nah in those days, you needed some kind order in the east end, which the police could not give. The krays were seen by the paupers as less corrupt, they only hurt their own kind.
yea I heard about that, he was shot in the eye. Probably was the Krays. I remember reg being asked if there were any other murderes on his deathbed, he replied..."One". It was the way he said it, you could tell he was lying
when Ronnie died it was on the TV and all those old girls where saying "it was safe to walk the streets'yet we cannot glorify that they both took 2 lifes and probably numerous others,My Grandfather was in the Metropolitan Police for 30 years and he reckoned they killed a Boxer (who names escapes me) Fred Someone?who owned a nightclub on theirmanner!!!
Fair enough , but why do people like yourself always treat TWO DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES as one and the same. Ron was psychopath, Reggie although violent was nowhere near as bad, he was influenced and corrupted by Ron. You cant box them up in the same category.
It should really potray as what there where , Two very ruthless sadistic psychopathic killers up there with Ted Bundy Charles Manson Jefrey Dahmer, I dont understand how the Cockneys look at them as "Luvly Boys" , it is such a pity they where convicted after the Abolishment of Capital Punishment
