This is a clip I found on YouTube from the movie "The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc" (1991).

I think it pertains to how many people interpret an event as 'a sign from 'god' to them' (yes; that was quotations within a quotation, haha). It also helps to show the way anybody SHOULD go about investigating claims, especially religious ones.

I chuckled a little at the clip when I first found it, I hope you do too.

  • @CarpeOmne yes, mormons do that. it's annoying. All I'm doing is simply informing you on information you're obviously lacking. I didn't call you any names, so I'd appreciate if you'd show me that mutual respect and keep your negative comments to yourself. Thanks.

You said mormons aren't Christian when they obviously are. That makes me thing you're joking around, so sorry if you're offended by me calling you a troll, you sure looked like one. I'm not lacking information, I know what the Bible says, but I also know how christians act, and I think the way one acts is much more important than how one claims to act. Christians say they don't judge, but they always do just like anybody else so what they say they do and don't do is meaningless.

  • @CarpeOmne keep your negative comments to yourself. True Christians do not judge. Our job is to simply educate people on the beautiful works of God, Jesus, and his Holy Spirit. If you ever come across a "Christian" who judges, then they are not a true practicing Christian. I think you should read up and educate yourself on Christianity and what it means to be a true Christian before you point fingers. Evangelism is when people come up to you and speak about God. Mormons do that; not Christians.

Isn't this cute? You guys act so big when you try to undermine science education in the United States, try to require school organized Christian prayers, go door to door telling people without your beliefs that they're worthless, and criticize every other religion on many of the same points your religion can be criticized on.

Then someone says something bad about your religion... and BAWWWWWW! "WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO MEAN TO US????"

I think it's cute at least.

  • ‘The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’

    They are corrupt,

    They have done abominable works,

There is none who does good,’ Ps. 14:1

  • Made in the Image is our Literary Licence, we are not rats in someone's scientific experiment, we are Begotten of the Imagination that is God, to eventually see exactly what we desire to see and that is the inheritance of the Gift of being Human . If you cannot see what you will , and fulfill the Artistic Gift of Life, then you are only a machine. Science is not Nature, Nature existed before Science and will exist after Science is forgotten, We are the Sons of God, No Limits

  • Everyone is entitled to believe or disbelieve what they will in our society. This is the beauty of a Republic. Unfortunately man being fallible, and arrogant prefers to force his views on others, either Atheist or Faithful. Yeshua said, to be a light unto the world. Not knock on doors, not point fingers etc. Any man doing such things is in danger of judgement, including the non believer. Better to get your own house in order. Not worry about others.

  • "you didn't see what was...you saw what you WANTED to see."

    my favorite part.

  • No matter who's right or wrong everyone has a the right to their opinion but no one has the right to judge.
