@zEl1te45z - Hi Matt. hey thanks for the thoughful comment, I really appreciate it...the sound quality sucked, had some problems with my ne33w lav mike. The old boy did get another shot the next day and scored, and the third day, tried again and became another females lunch! OUCH...that's a sad way to go!!! LOL

Wow I found one of these when i was a wee lad, and thought it was huge, but years later I thought i was just small, and it wasnt so big, but then after this post man I changed my mind audax's are big jumpers.

@mikefarrelljr67 - Yes, these were a few of my "bad boys"! They can get fairly large, as far as jumping spiders are concerned. Adults can be as small as .4" to as large as .7" Females are usually larger than the males, as is the case in several spider species. And a female with eggs, can be quite "fat" so much as to inhibit her jumping and climbing ability. Take care!
