G1 Transformers - My Favorite Decepticons (Tribute)

I like the Decepticons more than the Autobots, so in this video I pay tribute to 4 of my favorites from the faction. Menasor was originally not going to be used, but it didn't feel right not including one of the Decepticon combiners.. so I made my choices based on: favorite combiner, favorite 'soldier' (non-Seeker), favorite Seeker, and favorite high rank (rank 8+ on the tech specs).

Menasor is my favorite combiner. Individually, I like the Constructicons more.. but in combined form, I prefer Menasor over Bruticus and Devastator. Don't really know why.. I just do.

Blitzwing is just awesome, and his part in the episode 'Triple Takeover' from the cartoon is classic and memorable. I just wish I would have taken the time to get more pictures.. even Menasor has more.

Dirge is the shunned member of the Seekers; I think I'm the only Dirge fan around. His bio portrays him as sullen and morose, which reminds me of myself.. and in the cartoon, he spoke with a creepy voice that is very hard to describe. He didn't get nearly enough lines though. Dirge also controls fear (though he never does in the fiction..), so that's also cool. It's always the quiet ones.. ;)

And my favorite is Soundwave. This 'Communications Officer' is responsible for spying on Autobots and hacking into computers and other systems.. at times Megatron even sends him ALONE to complete tasks *cough*capturing the Negavator*cough* ('Auto-Berserk' from the cartoon). Soundwave is much.. MUCH.. more than just a 'Communications Officer', but.. who am I to say? And he has a cool voice in the cartoon too.

That would the season 2 episode 'Masquerade', where some of the Autobots disguised themselves as the Stunticons.

i agree the decepticons are the best , i dont like the autobots too much , the decepticons look better

Don't get me wrong, I like the Autobots.. Prowl and Mirage are awesome.. but overall, the characters I seem to like more are on the Decepticon side of the battle.

um ForgetaboutFreeman, Bruticus isn't formed by the Stunticons, that's Menasor. The Combaticons form Bruticus

Menasor is actually the combined Stunticons. Bruticus is the Combaticons.

As for Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge.. I wasn't too into the third season as I was the first two. Honestly.. I never gave any 3rd season character a chance past the movie. In that vein, Leonard Nimoy did make for an awesome Galvatron.. as did Orson Welles as Unicron.

Cool tribute. Yes, you have to be one of the very, very few Dirge fans out there! He was hardly ever seen in the Gen1 show, quite the tertiary character if ever there was one! Drige was one of the first TF toys I had, BTW.

The writters never really did justice to him or Thundercracker and Skywarp, just so many characters with odd quirks!
