A brief write up on self & achievements:

Basically I am a music lover apart from home maker. I love music and also practice vocal music almost on daily basis. I am also attached with ALL INDIA RADIO (AKASHVANI) for last Eight years.

I belong to Indian Oil family where my father was in Indian Oil and Presently my Husband also in Indian Oil Corporation which is a transferable service. In my school days I was with my father at Allahabad, U.P. where I started my formal initiation of Vocal music at Prayag Sangeet Academy in their Gharana and it was basically with Shastriya Sangeet (Classical Music).

After marriage, I had to travel to the States of Gujarat and Rajasthan where I assed Visharad from Allahabad.

Again after homecoming in Kolkata, I could get an opportunity to fulfill my learning aspirations from Pandit Sh. Arun Bhaduri in Classical Music. I also came in touch with Renowned Musical Exponents like Sh. Kalyan Mukherjee, Sh. Kamal Ganguly, Sh. Ramanuj Dasgupta etc. During my stay at Rajasthan, I had the few opportunity to perform at stage and also after coming back to Kolkata City, I could perform at Park Hotel, Tolly Club on Official Functions and other places on various occassions. In this connection, I put forward my brief resume for your review and for consideration of my candidature.

Date of Birth : 7th June 1968

Professional Qualification :

1.Passed "Visharad" as a classical Vocal Artist from Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya in 1995 from Ahmedabad.
2.Selected as an Artist in Prasar Bharati, Jodhpur Kendra in the year April, 2000 in Geet/Bhajan category and performed/performing from Jodhpur/Kolkata Kendra of AIR at regular intervals.
3.As an amateur artist, performed in various cultural functions as well as function arranged/organized by Govt. Offices at venues like Tolly Club, Park Hotel, Totary Club of Kolkata, Geet Jayanti Utsav, Lake Land Country Club, Behala Utsav, Milan Utsav Bangla Sangeet Mela, etc.
4.Continuous teaching/aspiration are recieved from Shri Arun Bhaduri, the renowned vocalist of Shastriya Sangeet at ITC (Sangeet Research Academy), Tollygunge, Kolkata.
5.With an able support from Raga Music Communications Pvt Ltd, I could brought out one Audio CD "Prabhuji Te Kahan Gayo" for Selection Bhajan Collections which is already available in all leading Music Stores of Kolkata.
