At Canterbury Faire 2010, Lord Luan an Fael was commissioned by Desiderata to compose a ballad about Thomas "Donsbane", so called for his first ever SCA tourney where he roundly beat the dons and was named a Lord within three hours. This video was shot at the Half Circle Theatre at Canty Faire, to the not at all vicious enjoyment of the populace (note Gordon's grin behind Lord Thomas) and the acute embarrassment of the Donsbane.
Set to the tune of Bad Horse, from Dr Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog
"Donsbane, Donsbane, Donsbane, Donsbane,
He strides across the list field,
the embodiment of win.
He won the Provost tourney that we put him in.
He needs no introduction, so let the filk begin.
A heinous rhyme, a show of force,
he'll murder us by the end of course.
Donsbane, Donsbane, Donsbane, he's fast!
The white scarf league of evil is watching so beware,
the next tourney you enter will be the last we swear.
So make the white scarves gleeful,
or they'll break your legs with care.
You're armoured up, its to the lists,
we hope your sober cos we're all pissed!!"
I think you have a good idea there, Captain Peroxide. : )

*cracks up* Oh man, Donsbane, you is never going to live that one down. I can promise that it won't end up on a certain list, only because I have no idea where that list is. Enjoy your infamy! 'Cause let's face it, even without this song, you'd still have some. : D
