  • @56Stiffy LOL yeah, yeah, yeah, and chicks for free!! go sing your song somewhere else

  • I heard Ernie a lot when I was a kid. Sometimes when my dad didn't feel like listening to the TV announcers, he'd turn down the volume and tune in to Ernie. I loved it when he'd say "He stood there like the house by the side of the road and watched that one go by". He even did that with Tiger batters too. He's a legend to Tiger fans. Thank you Ernie.

  • Thanks for the memories, Ernie! You will be missed! Truly, a legend has passed.

  • @scotchrks I heard ERNIE call a game once and I thought he sucked! This clown had nop real talent. ANYBODY can say what they are looking at, but could he hit a curve ball? Harwell was just an overpaid jackass. I should have that job. Money for nothin!

  • Rest In Peace, Ernie! A true legend in Tiger baseball

  • a true legend.

  • Simply the Best - I miss his calls. I used to sat up late when I was a kid to listen to Ernie when the Tigers were out west. Fall asleep to his calls.

  • one of the last true gentlemen of the game, there will never be another like him. Thanks for the memories.
