For the next conversion, I vote for a classic MINI.
They may not be very luxurious, but they are a lot of fun.

Is it my imagination, or has the high pitch you would get at low speed (presumably due to the PWM of the DC motor controller) been reduced somehow? Did I miss something, have you made some changes?
Awesome video, it summarises the whole life of the project from oil burner through to successful EV. Congrats to you and Happy First Birthday to your ev.

I haven't checked up in ages, but good job Gav!!! Good to see it's still running!

rust can be fixed if you fix it early it is easier

um, great cake ... maybe the car would appreciate some body filler to repair the rust spots??

I was worried about rust, and before the Canadian dollar fell I was looking at getting an 81 DeLorean DMC-12 due to it's stainless steal and fiberglass construction. But it was going to stretch my credit to the max, and now it's just too expensive with my dollar worth 77 cents and people getting laid off left and right. I enjoy the fact you keep us up to date as how it's going, and I hope the rust is not too hard on you next year.
Hehe, yeah the next EV will take days, not months! Just gotta get a garage built first.
I was wondering what people thought about the cheesecake. Yum. You can really taste the asparagussy goodness.
(I'm joking, I wouldn't dare eat it)
