Truly an epic death metal song. Mike Davis has to be one of the best guitarists ever, too bad he quit guitar to become a land surveyor down because I'd love to see him blow away those two cockheads in Dragonforeskin.

Nocturnus ... this is insane... everything the sound, atmosphere the sheer power of the riffs... to be able to create such sound is genius. These guys were way ahead of their time...
they are way ahead of this time too... they make newer bands look like pussies and sound like batshit...
Hail fucken Nocturnus, a bright gem among the many old school greats.

The most amazing thing with Mike Davis is his finger control. Watch his fret hand, he fully extends his fingers after each note. Most people keep their fingers closer to the fretboard to lessen the distance to the strings. I hope he's successful in whatever he does these days. I wish he'd at least make an instructional video!
