I don't know why I bother watching some of these reviews now. I'm getting into board games but a lot of these games (the core sets at least) are out of print and hard to find otherwise

Thanks Tom, good review. I'm an occasional player so I think I'll probably skip heroes and maybe check out the dragons expansion.

I'd like to see a campaign book like DOW did for Memoir '44.
I hope they reprint the previous expansions because they are getting hard to find.

Great review. I was looking forward to this expansion for a LONG time as well! Was really hoping this would make it stand apart from the other BattleCry games, but it doesn't seem to do it.
Would have rather had Heroes count like Monsters with special abilties and cards, more so than an ongoing campaign setting.
Oh well, maybe next time. Still have high hopes for BattleLore and what is possible, especially under FFG's direction. Let's just hope for the best... =)

Just kidding. Awesome review as always. You really take the best out of the time at your disposal Tom. And I must say that with your reviews it almost seems to me that I have played a certain game myself.
Still, I think I'm going to skip BattleLore and its expansions, because it's a 2 player game if I'm not mistaken.
