How to debate a creationist?

My 2 cents on how to debate a creationist. Some people would insist you should know your science first before debating a creationist, well I do agree, but you can still win just by demanding empirical evidence for a creation.

1. You are an ape. Examples of mutations splitting species into new species are numerous, and we are no exception. Like us, chimps are apes but not the same species as us.

2. Yes, and if you dismiss the message an contents of biblical dreams, you should do the same with Paul and pretty much the entire book of Revelation.

@Feredir28 1. Could you provide an example so that I can research it myself? 2. You aren't dismissing it if Daniel interpreted it in the same chapter. Daniel 4:1-27 Revelation isn't a dream. It was the best way John could describe what he was seeing, because of the technology difference between then and whenever the end of the world is. 3. Yeah, if you mention God or politics anywhere on youtube trolls are sure to follow.

@LivingCorpse777 1. What you want to look up specifically is "Speciation" - the term biologists use to reveal the arrival of new species. Quick example:. Lycaon pictus, the African dog, is not a dog. The Aardwolf looks like a fox, but it is more related to cats. I will send you a few academic papers to look at.

2. Revelation is inscribed from flows of visions (basically it is one big acid trip). Paul's letters are written due to his dreams and visions.

um..hi..I have evidence if you would like to know the details of how the lord god (bless be he) created the earth...there actually biblical references :)......Book of Jubilees..Genesis which you already know about..life of adam and eve..Books of enoch...there are a few others as well..I would really tell you not to sek out christians for christ(bless be he) but seek out christ for christ (bless be he)..due to the fact some christians aren't truly christians..seek and you shall find :)

@Feredir28 I don't want to rain on your parade too much, but if the core of the earth was a (very) massive nutrino core (doesn't have to be a black hole) it would bend light in such a way that a high enought tree, could be seen from the other side of the world.

now another problem with your tree thing, is that IT WAS A FUCKING DREAM!!!
