You should use a paint remover like zip strip instead of sanding to preserve the perfect shape

@AirsoftPost Wouldn't be better to use stain instead of paint?

@AirsoftPost How would you do it to a AK-47 rear stock? I was thinking instead of taking it of just put (a lot) of painters tape around where it connects to the metal and just do what you do in this video.
It would be and AEG I'm working on so I don't want to risk taking of the stock and mess up the connection to the battery.
Would that work?

U could use about this same technek with stain u just don't need mixing or linseed oil what I'm saying is u could sand and stain the would to give it a darker look but with it not just in the grain but all the wood thts wat I did with mine hope this helps

Does the linseed oil give the wood a smooth non grainy feeling?

@PoisonMuffinz it wouldnt work because the plastic cant soak up the paint and oil
