My third video with 'sun rays' effect. This time we're looking at Ukrainian morning sun from 'Clear Sky'. Even though FC2's sun rays were very rich I think CS has the best lighting/sun effects out of all 3 games presented on my channel. It's just the most photorealistic

Video was recorded with FRAPS at 1920x1200 resolution with all setting set to maximum and AA turned to 4x. Game is pretty damanding and I was only able to get 40FPS (~20 while recording). DX10 rendering.

EVGA x58 mobo
EVGA GTX295

  • did u used any mods??pls reply!!!

    ty :)

  • @martyn347 no mods.

  • say me pls with what programm u made this HD-video? pls tell me all parameters and details... thx

  • @Johntsarev i use old school virtual dub and h-264 codec (now due to some stupid shit at youtube had to start using xvid), then i apply the resize filter to size it down to 720p format

  • thanks for the vid 2x4 but I am having terrible luck with it. I recently got an i7 and Bloodrage mobo, overclocked to 4.1 Ghz and SLi GTX260s, on this part of the game with the max settings except AA at 4x I am getting 10-20 FPS where as before with the Core2Quad and 750i mobo I was getting 30-50 all game. no idea what is wrong.

  • it is really hard to explain. make sure you have all patches installed. one of them corrects AA features maybe this is causing low fps

  • 4870x2 in Clear Sky gives more FPS, than GTX295 or (in fewer cases) also.

  • Ya. Unless you want 2 Frames every second they can.

  • My 22-inch monitor this resolution: 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 not support :(

  • It's good!

  • @2x4 ty for reply, that was fastest reply i got on youtube XD

  • Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!!!

  • Anyone that can play S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky in all its glory is lucky. I just built a computer for around 400 dollars and cut my budget on the graphics card. The only thing I am lacking I believe is the Graphics card and now a PSU to run a new card. Currently running on a Antec 430W PS.

Currently AMD PII X4 955BE 3.2Ghz, 6GB XMS DDR3 1600mhz, MSI 785GM-E51 MB, GT240 1GB DDR3 :(_ I was hoping to get to run CS maxed out on everything. NOPE! Everything but Volumetric smoke and Sun Rays.

  • @2004hello In gameplay Clear Sky definitely wins out, but in its Demon console crashing w/ godly graphics that will make you hold your chicken close to you in lonely starlit nights, that make the poor computer nerds like me squeal with delight as they sacrifice yet another hot meal to watch the awe inspiring graphics glitter across the screen...at an amazing 2 fps...hmm...

  • "Clear Sky"

  • Almost can't see this, my HD 3650 carshed and im now "playing" it on a intel intergrated 950 gma, with (at lucky moments) gets 15 FPS at singleplayer (all lowest)

and just 20 at multiplayer. Is this game good on a S3 chrome s25 with 512 MB?
