my point is that anybody who hates, is already burning in hell and can continue to eat dick. for i certainly do not care

maynard could stand there and not sing a word and i would still think of it as a great show. but then again ive taken so much acid and mushrooms at tool and apc that just the thought of either bands music makes me weep in awe.

@streborwehttam yeah well....he should have heard himself at Red Rocks Colorado this past august. he sounded better than i have ever heard him in the past 8 years

@BluddHunterr Ya, but it was the remix, which I don't like at all. I saw them play in Boston, great show but no 3 Libras. :( Still, we got Orestes, so that's not too bad :D

@KapustaCuber It was on their set list for last month's tour. They forgot to play it in NY though.

i look at it this way,i never thought they would tour again,i dreamed what it would be like to see them live, and on july 13th that dream will become reality....and as far as maynards voice i saw tool in 2009 @ apw festival and he sounded amazing...

They'd better play this song next tour. Just seeing this would be well worth the ticket price.

@TimeSpiraling you couldn't have said it any better than this, man. The songs on Mer De Noms are super hard to sing properly without routine practice, for sure. Coming from singing in a Tool tribute band myself and being able to once sing all of the APC songs fairly well back in the day, trying to just belt these babies out cold turkey is quite difficult and would require a good practice regimen for a few weeks to sound proper.
Just so people know, MJK said in an interview that he is disappointed in his live performances as of late, himself. He's well aware that he's not meeting the standards he set for himself. BUT, from a fan, he's still the best at what he does. And he tours with THREE acts. THREE! Almost all at once, no real break. So let's just give him the benefit of the doubt. I hate seeing MJK haters who have no idea what he really puts himself through. So try it 20+years, then hate if you're better.

I thought they put on a great performance! It was certainly true to the albums. I really wish I could have got footage of Fiddle and drum on saturday. He fucked up doing that one. It was really neat cause the band left the stage and the lights went down except for one on him and he was reading the lyrics.
