To shave or not to shave? (That makes me sound like a hippie talking about my legs and underarms and stuff... haha, hopefully you guys can opine that I'm referring to the hair on one's head, considering we're discussing trich, but ya know, thought I'd clear that up!)

i have trich and i think shaving your head defeats the purpose of fighting to stop pulling your hair, when it starts growing back and its poking up all over your gonna pull it, simple.

it makes no sense to me

I think the reason trichsters want to shave their heads (myself included) is that for those of us who want to end the miserable addiction, it FORCES us to break the habit, because when you shave there's no hair left to pull. ^_^ (Trying it for the first time today, have a lot of faith in it)

I think my Trich is connectcted my a sort of obsesion with scissors. In like reception (1st grade to all you americans) I cut my friends hair off in class :s

I pull out the dark and sort of wirey hairs and the really short ones.

So am i the only guy in the world to have this? cuz i shave my head all the time. it feels amazing!!! it doesnt help me stop pulling forever, but it gives me a few hours of peace before im tempted again. btw it looks like your doing great. i know how hard it is

Oh my god I know exactly how you feel i have trichotillomania to and I constantly have the urge to shave my head, I havent done it thankfully, im glad to know that im not alone.

OMG! yea! i totally feel the same way!! i've never gotton to that point of shaving my head... but i think about it all the time... i even thing about waxing it off... cause i can imagen that feeling good... oh man. :(

I shaved my head and it didn't help cus after a few weeks i started pulling it again, I am a trichster and i have had it since i was 7 and i am 17 now.. It helped for a few weeks then i started to pull my hair again...And your right about everything you said. I love your videos cus now i don't feel bad knowing that other people have the same problem.

i keep my hair too short to pull, however in doing so i dont have any eyelashes or brows...
