I've seen these guys on PBS a couple of times and have enjoyed them immensely every time. The horns are a lot of fun, nice and bright sounding, and the guitars are awesome. I love the nice "full" sound. Ended up buying the CD on Amazon. I hope to hear more from this group!
BTW, thanks for explaining how the production works. That's really interesting! If you ever want to give more explanation, that would be good :)

These guys are super talented! This song inparticular sounds like a modern Chicago song but the the other guy does a dead on Robert Plant for their cover of the Immigrant Song. I was just lucky enough to catch this on PBS earlier today. These guys rock but are truly a versitle and creative force! P.S...supurb bassist and guitarist. They really get the most of that Fender sound from both instruments!
This is a specially created peek into the BackStage Pass production process.
We use 8 cameras; 3 floor, 2 hand-held, 2 fixed (unmanned) and a jib. Here, youll see 4 camera operators framing and focusing their shots off-line before they are potentially used in the final program edit.
The audio is the original reference track used as part of the post-production decision making process. The performance audio will be completely remixed and re-synced to the final program video.
