A very odd effect in a HHO cell I have been testing....the water is straight tap, and the whole thing only eats up about 4-5 watts @ 60-70 volts...I give broad figures because it's running off of unfiltered rectified DC so measurements are bit tricky.

I have no way of explaining it....the bubbles are coming out much to uniform, small and constant for it to be a disturbance caused by surfacing bubbles...besides its a rhythmic pulse and the bubbles have no rhythm they are a constant flow as u can see....

It's no doubt a relation of surface tension, because I allow the foam u see to grow, it will eventually choke this action out. However, the trigger is not apparent, because it acts differently around other people. I had my brother come look and it started doing a double pulse, but went back to the pulse in the video when he left.

  • Well, it is not pulsed anywhere near .33hz no....It's rectified wall current, so around 120hz or so

  • nice! that's exactly what we see in joecells ... tiny bubbles, i think its the charged water discharging against the air. i could def be wrong.

My earliest cells did this, with much less water, at under 20volts, spring water, no electrolyte.

its great to see the effect in a larger volume of water, thankyou so much for sharing this! :)

  • This is fantastic ... Piss a little there and soon you can start the gold extraction.

  • if you are pulsing it at high frequency-good choice. if not-get one of those things from radio shack-which i cant remember the name of. but they remove the pulse... cant think of the name... i think there was an ac/dc converter one... probably wrong.

  • If you use full wave rectification it will be 120 hz, but if you use half wave, it will still be 60hz

  • Maybe a short in powersupply? Just a thought going off and on... interesting.

  • WTF-its ocsillating at 3-4 cycles per second.

    its breathing!

reminds me of Victor Schaubergers work.

you note it doubled frequency when your brother came to view it.

is that the only time you have had 2 people view it together?

i have seen a JOE cell oscillating like that.

  • magnetic field collapsing?, visual proof of it?

  • if you rectify 60hz 120vac it becomes 120hz? its not still 60hz?

  • Nice reaction. Very interesting.
