By request, I uploaded another obscure anime short. Have you seen Cat Soup? Mind Game? Kemonozume? Kaiba? Noiseman: Sound Insect? This is an 18-minute pilot film created by the man behind that catalogue of insanity above. Needless to say, the actual television series "Vampiyan Kids" bears only superficial resemblance to this warped pilot.

For anyone wondering, I was the one who did this. It was a seriously long time ago. I really want to retranslate this pilot. I'm embarrassed by the translation and I do want to redo this. I want to apologize to everyone for this and I will redo the whole thing when I get the chance. I also replan on retranslating episode 2 and 3 of the series once I get access to raws for it again.

@syntheticgerbil I just watched the thing on Catsuka, it's pretty awesome. Do you have the raw video file (like not off of Catsuka's streaming player)? I might be able to convince a friend to translate it.

This translation is actually really, really bad. It seems the translator managed to pick out a few words and simple phrases here and there, and then just made the rest up.

For comparison, the opening lines actually say something along the lines of, "You may not believe me, but this is something that really happened to me! It's a truly horrifying story! If you start watching it, there's no turning back! If you're going to turn the video off, now's your only chance! I hope you won't regret it..."

3:46 to 3:50 was my fav part cause the moose head is drolling or something and the kids like HuH! and the moose head is back to its normal way.

oh my goodness this translation is.... incredibly bad! it looks like the translator used google translate, or something worse! it made me wish i could somehow turn the cc's off if there weren't part of the video file. i enjoyed the story anyway though! good upload!
