North Korea has carried out its third nuclear test in defiance of international criticism.
The test could bring North Korea one step closer to developing a warhead small enough to arm any of the many missile types it has stockpiled, which in turn would lead to other powers increasing their levels of nuclear deterence in a new and deeply dangerous arms race.
Many had hoped that Kim Jong Un would distance himself from the "military first" policies of his father.

Iraq and afghanistan were cake walks compared to the nation building currently need in North Korea. Do we really want to spend another trillion dollars trying to fix an unfixable situation?

If the NK dictator is the exquisite nut-job that I believe him to be, then removing him will be the only solution to maintain peace in that region. The Chinese could do this most effectively and with much less bloodshed than any other outside nation, It would be in their better interest to do so, for no one wants a nuclear war on his front doorstep.

you need to do more research without any bias. here is proof you are wrong on one of the points - Russia supports South Korea, the rest is obvious - if US really had given the South what they needed to defeat the North, do you really think they wouldn't have by now? Watch video "Korea-Russian President Putin Decorates Mayor and make sure and read the important and informative comment below the video about technology exchange and current relations. thank you!

were are you people getting this shit? its laughable! first, russia supports the north, not the south. secont, the south has had the technology to defeat the north LONG before all this got started last year with the missle testing. the US gave south korea the means to build the country and made it the first world country it is today. all russia made was... well the north!

if Russia is so bad than explain why it is we who gave South Korea the latest technology they need to win the war with North Korea (in case it happens) and not US, huh?! Because we really care, but US just wants control, that's all...

it no longer has to mean attack anyone anymore. Any altercation, from moving ships into south korea, to bombing another village, to even releasing videos like they already did will launch US retaliation.
the US is now undergoing new sanction rounds, just because they released these videos. Imagine if they tried the latter now?

Lattest news: This morning, North Korea officially cut off all communications with South Korea, including the red phone with Seoul preparing for war against the US in the South Korean peninsula. The use of nuclear force against the invader, including South Korea and United States is in, as North Korea just moved missiles along the canal by underground roads. China new prime minister and Russia also just signed a new treaty to stopped the influence of United States worldwide.
