Scar/Shenzi/Banzai - "Dear Angel"

You have NO idea how hard this story AMV was to construct. It went through like, four variations on my computer before I even got the story right. Well I've said before, there should be more Shenzi/Banzai stuff, so I'm making it. Okay, so 'angel' isn't exactly a stellar description of Shenzi but hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The story is that Banzai has feelings for Shenzi, and she for him, but Scar tells her that in order to get his help, she must be loyal to only him, which means she can't be with Banzai, so she is forced to break up with the hyena she loves for the good of her pack. Banzai is so depressed by this at first that he tries to kill himself. Shenzi and Ed manage to stop him, but Shenzi tells him again that it's over, and it's better this way.

Banzai however, can't stop fantasising about Shenzi and him together, becoming angry with the world in general that he can't be with her. Shenzi even admits to him that she would still rather be with him than Scar, since Scar does not exactly make for a stellar boyfriend, treating her in an increasingly disrespectful manner. Both she and Banzai approach Scar separately and tell him the whole thing is a bad idea, but Scar just ignores them, occasionally trying to shut them up with food.

Still, their feelings for one-another grow, as do Scar's suspicions, until they approach Scar together and ask him to let it all go. Once again he refuses and this time gives them a trouncing before throwing them out of his cave.

Due to the painful and lengthy separation, Shenzi and Banzai no longer care what Scar thinks and share a night of passionate love together. Scar however finds them and taking their love as a sign of disloyalty, hits Shenzi and scars her cheek. This enrages Shenzi, Banzai, Ed and indeed the entire pack, who turn on him good and hard and kill him.

Finally the three of them leave to start again - they don't know where they're going or what they'll do when they get there, but at least they're together and have full stomachs.

Grey clips are fantasies - and as you can see, some of those fantasies come true.
