Vanston Teacher Inspires through Decorations

Jennifer Schwettmann decorates her room at Vanston Middle School to inspire kids to succeed in the AVID program. AVID is an educational program in the Mesquite Independent School District that targets students who are only getting average grades but who have the potential to succeed in a rigorous academic program. AVID is an acronym standing for Advancement Via Individual Determination.
