  • amerie speaks so intelligently with an expansive vocabulary.

  • I'm wishing, I wish you would of gave me the flowers (then I could smell them). And I'm wishing, I wish you would of held me for hours (when I was around). And there's nothing you could do, but to wish I was with you. But it's too little, too late, too late to press rewind, (too late to go back in time). So there's nothing you can do, cause right now I'm missing you. You should have gave me the flowers, then I could smell them. Cause now your gone

  • Love In The Time Of Cholera is a VERY underrated movie just like Amerie.

  • She went to Georgetown and graduated with a English/Fine Arts degree, of course she knows how to speak well..! Duhh! lol..

  • @stiqman What are you talking about, she writed her lyrics herself. And don't tell me that's wrong cuz i'm her biggest fan and i almost know everything about her.

  • i love amerie

  • I honestly thought this was going to be released as a single. This was one of the best songs on the album and it's a shame because it could have been a wonderful video.

  • Why is she pretending that somone didnt just hand her the lyrics. Cause thats what happened. someone just handed her the lyrics. and then gave her a check.

She needs to give all her money to world hunger.

  • For some reason i like it more to see her life or in 1 of these vids than in a video clip. This feels like being whit her

  • omg cute outfit!!!

  • I always love hearing how an artist comes to write a song. This song reminds me of old Burt Bacharach/Hal David stuff that Dionne Warwick recorded back in the '60's with the haunting piano piece and the melodies wound the way they are. This song was hell for me to learn to play, but I almost have it. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • i love love love this song and this CD...i wish it would've gotten more exposure!
