  • Words of wisdom often come best from a great clown.

  • WoW! I remember Pat Paulson so well as the comedian who used to crack up me and my whole family every week on the Smothers Brothers, but I never knew he could really sing! Damn good! Great!

  • Written by Albert Hague and Allen Sherman...Fig Leaves are Falling...

  • Written by Albert Hague, who also wrote the music for the Grinch

  • @LittlPussi Well said.

  • This is the only song I've heard from The Fig Leaves Are Falling. Are there any others out there? I know the album was never released.

  • Does anyone have the lyrics to Did I Ever Really Live? There is so much meaning to this song.

  • Such a great, very funny show this was that was sadly cancelled after only half a season. And Pat does a fine job with this song.

  • He had a fine voice and was a very talented entertainer. He was pretty friggin' funny.

  • Check out the great Joe Williams singing this one as an old man. Tear jerker.
