@deputycorps69 This is definitely true. You've got a beautiful red Sib. I've got a red-brown, she looked black and white when I got her though.. Took a bit for the color to come out.

@JGirlGotzU I am not saying all dogs are bad with cats or that something will happen between the two, what i am saying is introducing a adult sibs who has never been around a cat will most likely (not always) try to treat it as prey as a natural order. Those of us who have sibs know what i am talking about when your dog sees a rabbit or stay cats. Heck i even have to remind Lana a number of times not to think about it.

@tommooxyz pictures and be misleading and hard for anyone (including vets) to tell the difference. I always get a pedigree and Lana has been DNA tested through my vet. It was expensive ($125.00) but it confirmed that she is purebred. Remember there is no dog that is 100% anything over 91.5% is what they classified as purebred. Lana was a impressive 95.57%.

@JonesyBoyy MOre exercise, more toys, and teaching your dog no! Then rewarding and praising her with treats and words when she is doing good. Exercise more so she/he would have less time to bite. Be firm with your NO!

@JGirlGotzU cats can be a huge problems for older sibs, but if you get sib pup at a young age and raise them with the cat then things should be find. watch out for older cats with young dogs, as if they scratch your dogs eyes(where they aim for and where the most dirt is at on a cat claws) your dog could lose an eye. Supervision is the key.

Got problem! Recently I bought a siberian husky. Well, at the time I thought it's a husky as she looked like one. I have her for one month now, and she's drop dead cute, but I've been hearing few doubts from people who actually say she isn't purebreed husky. Most of them are saying she's cross breed from malamute and husky.
Can anyone with a husky knowledge give me email/facebook or something so that I can send few pics of her. I would still love her no matter what, I just want to know.
one of those with the red coat. It seemed to me like she is, but I wanted to make sure of this. As far as the red coat goes, I have been doing a little bit of reading and have found that there is actually a chocolate/ red with white, pure white, and light orange and white. Now I was wondering about the three because all of them were described to have a little bit of red in them. I do believe I like the pure red the most, however, I was hoping to get some input on all of them. Please help.

@MrClutch1999 There is a chocolate red, which looks like a brownish-red) and then a red coat (which lana is) but there is NO orange coat that has been accepted. Red,Brown, white, black,&grey are the accepted colors in any combinations for sibs.

I've got quite a few questions for you. Questions that might take some time to ask them all, but I will start with the basic ones for now. First of all. I have always loved Siberian Huskies. One of my all time favorite colors on the Siberian Husky is the red coat of fur with the white under belly. I have been told by several people that this is one of the rarest colors to find on a Siberian Husky since most people think that they are all white, grey, and/or black. I was wondering if your dog was

@MrClutch1999 Well red is less common then the other colors but i found really rare are the all white sibs and the red-brown sibs. Lana is a red coat sib and they would be consider the 2nd rarest if i had to put an other to them. The red-brown (looks like a deep shiny brownish red) are rare and a pure all white coat is rare as well.
