  • When I was 16 in 1986 I had a red Ninja 1000. I really miss this bike. only problem I had was the 2nd gear shift fork bent from doing burn outs and wheelies. Great Bike...

  • Thank you for taking the time for making this vid. I don't mean by any means to put down what you did and I think its awsome you posted this vid to help people who dont know how to do this out, however I wish you would have went into alittle more detail with a few things. Like driving the fork seals, the individual parts of the forks, just alittle more detail on the little steps. I think that would help people like me that dont know how to do it alittle more. Thanks again for making the vid!

  • I sold my black '86 1000r a couple of years ago and have regretted it ever since.

    I bought a much newer bike and spent a bundle, but I wish I had just refurbished the old ninja. It was the best bike I've had yet.

  • hello there,i just wanted to say how much i enjoyed watching these.I have an 1989 gsxr 750 slingshot..its my dream bike and always gets lots of attention when ever i go to the ACE Cafe every sunday here in London.i cant afford a simpson(the bike takes up all my money..lol,(but have a craft helmet)that really fits with the era...really want to see this movie mate.this is fantastic stuff....ride safe brother!!! and thankyou.
