as much as I love this gymnast, there where a couple of lil flaws in the routine
-
@DustPuppyOI I was wondering you know..why that used to happen and now you don't see it anymore.. thanks I knew I would never find this answer easily on Google :))
-
@EuropeanGuy87 This was during the age of compulsories. Every move of the routine is dictated. Marks are for completion and execution.

That was a lame dismount.. while other do triple back flips this one just simply did nothing special..

This was a 10.00. I agree with chocdave Ma should have scored nothing less than 10.00 throughout the competition and won UB gold outright. Julianne was great but Ma was spectacular. A whole other level.

Thank you so much for posting this! It is quite rare! I can not believe this did not get a ten though, flaw, precise form and extension and NO bent arms.
-
She has those ballerina legs and feet that you normally associate with the Ukrainians. Very lovely!
-
Khorki certainly deserves props-not only on bars but I believe she is the only gymnast to have at least one move named for her in all four disciplines!
-
OMG that handstand pirouette! So pure and perfect.
-
Great choices! For tradition's sake, we might add Khorkina; people may argue about her virtuosity, but no one can argue with her innovation!
That should have been a 10. I love Julianne McNamara very very much, but Ma should have scored 10s throughout and won outright.

I agree 100%.
Ma was the class of the field on this event. Julianne was her usual crisp, precise self. Ma Yanhong was even better. The best.
