A gallery. People - like frozen sculptures. The portraits on the wall, however, are in motion. They are a series of pictures dealing with the same theme: a wooden doll coming to life.

  • Displacement Map?

  • @barisk1986

    no, it is not :)

  • Very nice, but sometimes parts of the Girl are stretched and squeezed.

You said its no 3d, so you took multiple images with Shape Blending?(would explain the small deformations)

  • @Sebal007: these are compression artifacts. you can watch it on my web site in much better quality.

  • Best 3D Video ever made, this should be a hit, This is so realistic, This must have taken a very long time, How long was it ?

  • @BrokenAirr: well, it took me a long time to come to this result.

just mentioning, this is not a 3D, it only appears like that.

  • This video is amazing!! However, trying to hide your technique for production is sadly the way you give your pathetic ego a boost? Needed to be said, sorry!

  • probably the same technique made popular by the "bullet time" effect in the matrix, a series cameras mounted on a circle shaped rail taking all taking a shot simultaneously.

  • There's boogers dripping out of her eye.

  • ok i don't understand is the girl animated?

  • looks like milk in her eye; thats not new :) it´s an old bussines

  • I wonder if video games will look this realistic in the future?

  • Amazing, man!

  • I liked the jerky camera, made it look all the more real.

  • Did you use 'pixel motion'?

  • Good slide show of multiple-shot photos. I remember that technique from "The matrix" film. How long it took you to arrange all the cameras around that girl?

  • nice

  • Nice :) One thing though, the projection mapping, especially when up close to the face, I thought, would benefit with a little more angular movement with a more detailed geometry being projected on. That way when it moves you'd go WOW! Very nice, though. Love the music.
