Fantastic to see this piece as a video and not only to listen to it on record. Thank you. I really appreciate your posting. What TV show is the video taken from?

Ciarain had a brain anuerism. It left him paralysed on the left side but with intensive therapy and his own determination he was back playing with the band for a short while and was star of the show for this period. He fought his illness as one would expect from a determined man but died in May 1988. May he rest in peace

Ciaran Burke stopped playing with the dubliners because of a serious mental and physical condition in 1974. I'd say this could be one of Ciarans last performances. What a group of legends we see here and we will never see the likes of them again. Its a pity and so sad but how can anyone fill their shoes.

dude if anything, its from 1984 tops. kelly died in 1984... and he stoped playing near the end of 1983 and he looked pretty bad for years back then, so i'm guessing its from 1976 or something like that :)
