I have a pair of Focal Solo 6 Be's that I use for audio mixing/ mastering. They are by far the best studio monitors I've ever used. I'll probably never buy another set of monitors. They are definitely the best I've heard. Pricey, but worth it.

I would by the B&W Zeppelin over these, although, it probably wouldn't fit in the perfect place for listening, because it would be in the way of the screen. So good choice either way.

Focal are a quality audio company (unlike Bose!), they make individual drivers for other manufacturers, the USB connection allows for better DAC performance outside the electrically noisy computer, and the iPod integration is well thought-out. Seems you get what you pay for here.

I miss the Monsoon/Eminent planar speakers, still the best upper mid-range and treble from computer speakers.

Couldn't agree with you more, I have a b&w zeppelin and it's good but the focal is alot better.

I'd rather buy the Bose or Logitech 2.1 and use the left over money elsewhere. The dock is a really neat feature though.
