    The best copycatter is one who copies, but only a few people who are educated or are specialized in the area know about it.

    Europeans have been copying everything from technological/philosophical ideas, to art and culinary styles since the Age of Copying, oops, no the Age of "Discovery" When you really think about it, it's not a coincidence that the Renaissance (the revival of one's culture) took place right after the Age of Discovery.
