You'll have to check out my vids of "Zippy the Wonderfrog"!
2yr old female albino ACF.....soon to be the re-homing recipient of 5 more.
I'm in the process of finding SOMETHING that can coexist w/ACFs.....so far, Chinese Algae Eaters seem to be holding their own.

I have exactly the same Xenopus........I never give him a worm that large. As cool as it is to watch him try to eat it, I worry about him choaking. I got some nightcrawlers and have to cut a piece off, and he still spits it out and in and out before he swallows.
I do however give him a whole earthworm from the yard, which he handles very well......
ur frog is sush a fatty you might want to look up bloat or a new diet

@liljackson69 That frog is (was, now I don't have it) not fat, it was a breeding female full of eggs. She was as big as your hand, I'm sure you haven't seen such a bigger frog in your live. She suffered bloat some months before, that's why her skin of the back is quite loose, and looks like she was fat, but she wasn't. In the video she was still recovering from the bloat: the cause: lack of calcium in the diet, when I gave her more earthworms, the problem solved.

your frog is so big, I think he's too much eating, be careful of overfeeding, frogs never hungry

@bantenzSkid Thanks, he is so big because he is a female, which grow twice or three times bigger than males, and she was full of eggs. She was given food once a week. She grew bigger than in the video, then I gave them as a present to a friend.

Hej from Sweden!
How do you keep your water clean and how do they find the food in the water???
Karynpamela 3 years ago
I use an external filter (Eheim 2213), it is a 113 litre tank. The frogs are very clean animals, even more than fish.
They find the food by the movement, it's difficult for them to catch food that doesn't move. When I feed them dead fish or shrimp, I use a thin stick to move the food in front of them, and they catch it very quickly ...
