Retro King Forty Five Watt Combo Bluesbreaker amplifier made by http://www.retrokingamps.com KT66 tubes, two channels, GZ34 rectifier. Demo by Greg V. http://www.gregvmusic.com

Guitars are factory stock except the Hamer Talladega has Seymour Duncan vintage style PAF humbuckers. Amp is close mic'd with a Shure SM7b and room mic'd with a Cascade Fat Head II ribbon with Lundahl transformer. A very small amount of room reverb was added in post.

  • @zumajim Thank you very much! I appreciate the good words, but I'll never be able to sound like YOU and that's the beauty of art, we all carry something individual and unique within our hearts and soul.

  • Greg, you've got me in a real conundrum. First, you make me want a new amp like the Retro-King or the Tungsten Crema Wheat in the worst way, but then knowing I'll never have 1/10th of your chops makes me not want to ever pick up a guitar again! In all seriousness, your demos are more inspiring than most live shows I've been to in recent years. Brilliant, man!
