Audio, Video & Controls, Inc conceived and executed this RFID enabled interactive exploration cabinet. Visitors to Dohaland's Knowledge Enrichment Center (KEC) in Doha, Qatar simply open drawers and place artifacts on the interactive tabletop, and are shown interpretive material (bi-lingual Arabic & English) in the form of explanatory text, slide shows and movies. Content was created by our partners at TheCouncilBridgerConway, and slots into a custom interactive front end and back-end database by AV&C. The KEC, designed by British architect Allies & Morrison, was built by Turner on a barge that is moored on the Doha Corniche. Visit http://www.av-controls.com/wordpress for more info.
