Here is a video about Xen VGA Passthrough using

The video is not good quality

domU is a virtual machine running on xen 4.2 unstable. (Inted VT-d)
The domU is a Windows XP Pro 64 bits SP2

I've patched xen according to the requirements for my video card: Nvidia GT 440 (manufacturer: MSI N440GT)

  • Are you sharing the primary graphics adapter? If so, do you run X on the linux installation? How does that work?

  • @yawn9 when domU started, domU take the control of the video card.

  • Can you switch back to dom0 or to other domUs that is not using the graphic card?

  • I have to say, thanks for posting this video, I know the technology is meant for business applications, but this is what i really wanted to see, the performance of a killer game. Wish you had a bit more of the gameplay shown, but still useful.

    Thanks.

  • wats the framerate?
