Macworld 2008 - the ModBook is cool

I loved the ModBook booth at Macworld 2008. It was fun to drop by and check out what the artists were doing with their cool tablet technology. It's a tablet, and it's a Mac - who could ask for anything more?

Yeah, I think that third one was displaying a demo of a handwriting recognition application. I think that it was displayed in portrait mode.

i still dont get it the modbook is just for drawing or what i mean what else that thing can do?????????? im confuse!!!!! PLEASEEEE HEEEEEEEEEELLLLPPPPP!!! and will somebody tell me what´s the actual cost???? thanx :)

true, but it'd still be a neat option. I have a program installed on my Macbook Pro right now that does that, although it doesn't do me any good its still fun!

but artists would try to change the angle theyre drawing and it would rotate...

You can easily rotate the screen in whatever direction (flip, horizontal, vertical) in system prefs. It would be cool if they used the built in motion sensor the automatically rotate the screen:-)

Okay wait, on their third modbook, the computer was rotated vertically... and it looks like they were able to rotate the actual screen to portrait, too!! Is that what you saw when you recorded it?
