We were using it and the motor made a death gurgle..I knew it was dead so I saved it for the kids to destroy. This was our third Dyson and each one has failed dramatically. The after sales service is good but I have had enough now..They used to be made in the UK but they are made in China now, i believe. They have been superseded by other brands. "`Every dog has its day".
