I noticed the backing plate looked different than the stock one that comes witht the FLEX 3401. What is it and where did you get it?

Are you sure this isn't M205? I've never had M105 not cake on me really bad and be really hard to remove...

@MrTruShine I also use M105, and it must contain some form of lubricant, otherwise it would become dust. So you must clean with alcohol afterwards. Just try it :) Not trying to criticise you, im thinking of buying that machine and want to know how good it works. Thanks

@sharpanator not his car, and had absolutely NO swirl marks when he was finished. go to his website and read his full write-ups. he does some AMAZING work.

Is this one of the LC HydroTec pads? The Cyan cutting pad? If so how long do they usually hold up?

nice ++
Im curious. what happens if you clean the paint with alcohol? is all the scratches still gone?

@DannePlutt Of course they would still be gone. The compound that was used in this video was Meguiars M105, it has no oils or fillers in it. Which means its the paint getting leveled out and the swirls and scratches are actually getting removed, not covered up. so cleaning with alcohol wouldn't make a difference. Thanks
