What limbsy said is correct...this isn't an FT-86. The concept they showed puts them at close to a 370Z style that will run in the mid 20k in the U.S. However, if you've seen renderings of the Subaru version of this car it's pure fucking sex. Best looking subaru i've ever seen, I just hope they stay with the same design.

This isn't an ft 86

it's similar to 86 but it's awd and a little bit of a longer wheel base.

plus... the ft86 is going to use subaru's boxer engine anyways

that thing halls ass, would be good to see a new rwd japanese sports car to emerge from the japanese market, theres been very few since the new emission laws of the new century

how do you figure? i've actually owned a 86 with a black top. and i'm hella excited to see this thing and hopefully own one. i'm not so excited about the suby engine, i would rather them come out with an improved and bigger displacement 20v, possibly turbo, but the chassis is awesome. the first affordable RWD car that can finally get toyota into the drift scene again. right now it's dominated by nissan, and mazda (atleast the street scene). toyota can dominate now with a car less then 20 yrs old

ft86 needs something like a 2zzge but a version like blacktop with itbs or a supercharger? (like the old 4agze ae86s) keke now that would be hella lota fun
