A 10-note polyphonic CASIO keyboard my father offered me for christmas way back in december 20th, 1987. In this video I am demonstrating the '20' rhythm styles.

  • i don't like how it plays it for you, i like to hear myself play

  • What do you mean you ''don't like how it plays it for you'' ? This automatic accompaniment function is incorporated in all of these types of keyboards and is designated for use as a 'backing' orchestra together with the melody, realtime solo part.

  • Oh memories of this classic keyboard, I just wish you had played the disco style a bit longer! brill video, thanks!!!

  • Nice little vid showing off the Style rhythms! I have a similar casio, the CT-370 but it is smaller and it only has 1 speaker on the right, I will do a video of my casio at some point.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • THIS IS HOW THEY MADE THE SUPER MARIO BROTHERS THEME!!!! LOL

  • My dad bought this keyboard when I was two. Lol. Now I'm 24. Still works great and looks brand new. He said he bought it for around $150 brand new in 1988.

  • I have the same exact keyboard but am missing the music stand. I have searched the internet for a replacement with no luck. Anyone know where I can get one? I looked on ebay and saw that this keyboard is selling for $120.00 - $130.00. Does anyone know how much it was in 1987?

  • Hahahaha I remember those pre-programmed rhythms... seems like yesterday. :) Just pulled mine out of the shed to use w/ FL Studio. Hope it still works.

  • You sound a little like Rich Hall lol.

  • Actually....I'm listening to the demo of the 370, and I believe it's the same as the 640. I guess that the 370 was just a smaller, mono version of the 640. Good stuff, though.

  • Nice to hear the different Rhythms again. Good idea from you. Thank you.
