Mike Skinner of The Streets began releasing new songs via his Twitter account in 2009.

The song entitled "See if They Salute" was released on April 21, 2009.

During that time, Skinner was working on his new studio album "Computers and Blues." Initially, it was unclear if the new Twitter songs would appear on the new album, but, in late 2010, it was made known that some would make the cut, while others would not. Fans now commonly refer to these Internet distributed recordings as the "Twitter Album."

He posted the song on his Official Twitter Page.

MIKE SKINNER U ARE A LEGEND!!!!!! The first CD i remember buying was fit but dont she know it single with soaked by the ale on it, after all those years ago im still feelin The Streets sound like brand new!!

There are actually many artists out there that are just as good as this albeit with different styles. The radio plays crap music in case you haven't noticed. Even college radio stations suck. You should check out P.O.S. Astronautalis, Bright Eyes, Aesop Rock, Sage Francis, Denizen Kane, Typical Cats, etc, etc, etc...so much amazing music is being made today, most people just never here it.
