@abcdrocknroll I asked him back in 2006 and he said 11s. I think back then he tuned his Les Paul down a half step (like here; except here, he's also dropped D on top of that).

I know, I wish there were an album version, but it's just a cover they do. But besides, they always sound so much better loud anyway.
