Hideo Kojima interview with Gamespot where he reveals his plans to take MGS4 to other platforms despite what the fanboys will tell you.

Secondly, I never said MGS4 wasn't 50gb. I did said that its uncompressed and duplicated so that it is actually 8gb when its compressed and not duplicated. Now stop being fucking stupid and do research like I do.

lol i thought this rumor was solved quite a while ago. its not coming to the 360. they are supposedly working on mgs5. keep dreaming xbox owners, its not happening. it would take a revamp of the entire game and STILL take multiple disks to play on the 360.

it IS coming out for 360 its coming out exclusively on xbox live marketplace, yes it will be the full version and it will cost 4000 microsoft points aka $40 and only take up 1gb of compressed memory, which has no affect to the game its just the save point and uploading points will run faster then what they will on the ps3

another comment to make. the 360 cant handle mgs4 its to big to fit on any disks the 360 has. its HUGE its like 8 halos. NO LIE it took me for ever to beat it. and im really good at it. played every mgs out there. not sayin the 360 is bad cause i like the 360 more than the ps3 NOW. but it would take 8 disks or so just to get the entire game complete. like 8 cutscenes are like 30 minutes a peice DAM cant skip them. 360 go with blue ray we could hav LONGER Better games and take the ps3 exclusives!

i used to HATE 360 guts so much but in 14 days guess wat im doin.... buy a 360 elite. yea boi. i hav had my ps3 for 2 years now and its a great system. I think the ps3 has just a little better graphics. because the blue ray and the better and more components in the system. but 360 has way better feauters. the reason 360 has more sales is cause the retail price is cheaper. and if u play cod4 it 90% of little gay ass kids lol. but i like both systems alot. ps3=graphics/ xbox360=features

look in first the xbox 360 and the ps3 are almost the same but these two have differences the xbox360 have more colours than the ps3 but the ps3 has blu ray but metal gear solid 4 has less information than gta 4 becouse gta 4 hast huge city and metal gear is only like a movie game you can only play the campaing and gear of war in 360 has equal graphics than metal gear in very but very possible the realese to xbox 360 plus msg4 dont has any six axis accions and if you rember msg2 was in xbox

And if it does, it wont be the same game at all unless they A) Dumb down the graphics B) Make the game shorter C) Get more momory on the 360 disc and D) have long load times. 9 gigs isnt alot and thats what he'd have to work with if he put it onto 360.

I was going with what Jamesy said, knew he was wrong. While the 34 is much closer to 4.7 than the 51GB most fanboys claim, you're still wrong, unless you have a source that can disprove mine.

360 discs hold 10 GB of data.

MGS4's game data is about 34 GB.

Just looking at that, it would take four discs to hold the game if they didn't do any compression. And since some data would have to be copied multiple times across each disc, you would actually be seeing more discs.

The storage isn't much lower on the xbox discs. There are games longer and more detailed on a single xbox disc than on most ps3 blu-ray discs.
