  • thanks for this tutorial, mr bluesummers :) got a question: what program/codec do u use for screen capturing? i got snagit but it cant record bigger resolution than 500x500 on divx :S

  • I use CamStudio with their proprietary lossless codec. It's a free program that's...just so great. The only down-side, as you can tell, is that on Vista it borks the cursor.

  • This is cool man, it tought me some cool new techniques. I just wish it was possible to do this kind of thing for game modelling (where it has to be 1 closed mesh with nothing intersecting). Things seem to so much more confusing when everything has to be a single object, and attaching them doesn't work cos you still get intersecting elements.

  • Thank you for your videos, they are very intuitive, which are GREAT for video tutorials. Again, great job!

  • Yeha! Place these tits everywhere :D

  • Yeah!!! Very helpful man.

    tnx a lot!!!!!

  • its really helpfull

    thx alot

  • thanks for the tut, pressing the shift key while converting poly selection to edge will only select the outline edges and not the interiors, also when u aligned the rivet to the cylinder using the align tool u can also align it left with respect to z and not just moving the rivet to penetrate it,

and there are lots of ways in which we can rivet the given object

hey if u please make tut on different rollout menus within the spacing tool, like the free centre and so on options, thats typical!

  • Thanks man! ur tutes are practical n awesome

  • thanks alot.

BTW the latest release doesnt screw the vista cursor for me. update if you feel like :)
