David Saks - In Memphis - Official Song of Memphis

'In Memphis' was adopted, in unanimous resolution, by the Memphis City Council as an "Official Song of Memphis" on January 24, 1991. It is also one of the only two songs ever adopted by the Memphis government as "Official Songs of Memphis". Both, 'In Memphis' and 'One Last Bridge', were written by David. 'In Memphis' was recorded, in 1990, on Beale Street at the Beale Broadcast Workshop. In time another version, and cleaner, will become available. This is an old master recording. Few remain, are analog tape, and have never been digitized.
