Lots of good advice. :)

I've been a member of QT pretty much since it began. I not only used it to find my agent, but I also became a mod on the forums there. I've watched most of the original members get agents of their own, some going on to get book deals. QT is the real deal. It's free, though there is the option of a premium membership that gives you more benefits, but you don't HAVE to do that. Patrick, the owner, designed the site because he couldn't find one that let you compare data to others querying.

hey there
thanks so much for the advice & giving us the QueryTracker link
but i do have a Question, how do you know that this site is the real deal? i mean i heard dozens of online scams regards to new writers so just wanted to clarify on that

Thanks Elana! :) You're awesome, as always! <3

You have so much insight on this. I love how you said agents shouldn't push you and that you have to let everyone know as a professional courtesy.
You rawk!

Keep it! There are certainly good lines in there mixed with the bad that you can use later ;) Always nice to see a fellow QTer!

I had the same exact problem! I have a trunk novel. Blech. It is really terrible.
And I also used QueryTracker. What a good website.
Thanks for the sound advice! :D

It is! You can sign up for a membership and see EVERYONE ELSE'S DATA. So you can see if the agent has answered queries sent when yours was sent. (It will drive you insane)

L-Cizzle, will you have my baby? It would be a pretty awesome baby.
