MEGA THX TO - André garcia for the dt and wallas tösko for the bio,U RULE MATES!! Ugly Squaws was formed in 1983 when Zå Nåra and The 4 Creetins broke up. The band consisted of some other names before new years day 1984 when they found the panties of Helena (Banan-fanzine editor) in their rehearsal room. Ugly Squaws Trozor was born.

The rehearsal houses located in Fagersta was shared with bands like: F.O.W, Bedrövlers, Crude SS, Bizarr, Cruel Maniax, RIF (later Kazjurol) and Happy Farm. Ugly squaws played some kind of raw crazypunk. The singer was always dressed up in different clothing and the band changed their name from every concert, as well as they changed the name of their own record label and their own nicknames. The first drummer Hocke wouldn't be allowed to play in Ugly Squaws further on as he also played the drums in Crude SS (Ebbe in Crude SS wouldn't allow him).

The band did some gigs Sweden, once in Finland and some times in Denmark. The gigs were done by names like these: Ugly Squaws: Trozor, Fanor, X, Kasst Djur Öl, SS, World of Lardnecks, Förflutna, Community of Silence etc. Uglu squaws also appears as The Rasta Boys on the Vikings are coming comp.

The EP was first named "Och hundarna skall pissa på hans grav" but the vinylfactory refused to press it because they wouldn't handle music that was against the dead prime minister Olof Palme which the title was referring to. They had to change the title and cover to get the record out.

The band got more political and joined the local anarchist group while trying to survive the crossover scene in the late 80´s. Metal was no fun an the band went to central America in 1991 and recorded two songs in Guatemala together whit Staffan from Svettens Söner. The band is currently just being lazy as the drummer left the band sometime ago

The band did also have some sideprojects, like Magnus & the Periods, Igor & The acoustic Dicks, TKK and The Pisstakes.
