Strange Ice Arrow glitch

I discovered this glitch a while back and decided to mess around with it today. I found a bunch of new side effect glitches from it that were interesting enough to film.

The whole video baffles me. I have no idea why the Ice does what it does. Sometimes it freezes your game, sometimes it disappears and reappears somewhere else, and sometimes it disappears for what seems like for good, but you walk around for a minute, and it reappears somewhere.

Does anyone know why this happens? I don't have the slighest clue.

see, when you stay in the dessert for too long, it effects your brain. it causes mirages, odd visions of water/ice, all sorts of stuff.
